This App was developed for use on the water were GPS signals are strong to run entirely off GPS sensor be able to save select and edit saved position be easy to read with large font sizes so that I would not need to use reading glasses and operate in a moving bouncing boat.
This app has quite good outside visibility outside on Samsung S4 set on auto brightness:Note auto brightness is necessary for better visibility outside
Position entry automatically displayed in decimal format
When GPS chip has a satellite fix the main screen displays
Bearing to selected saved position (target)
Current heading default North Magnetic declination able to be entered in settings for you current chart area mine -19 then able to steer course off compass or current heading
Distance to selected position
Speed in selected units Km Mi or MN
Current position coordinates
Selected position name and coordinates can display in one three modes
Decimal, Minutes, Seconds
Scroll-able to show buttons at bottom of screen
New button to open new screen to add current position or add in your own coordinates
Select button to select saved position you would like to go to from list
Edit button to select position you would like to rename or add notes

All coordinates are entered in and saved in decimal format and converted to display inn selected format
